About

Aliya B Haeri is a qualified psychologist, mentor and coach with more than 25 years of international experience in psychotherapy and spiritual counselling.
Aliya has worked in many countries including the UK, USA, Germany, Sweden, India, the Gulf Emirates, Pakistan and Canada. She has developed her own integration of the spiritual and psychological that focuses on soul development, which she draws out from the deepest level of who you are and integrates into all aspects of your life.

Born in Hawaii, Aliya earned degrees at New York University and the Postgraduate Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, now Sofia University, before embarking on a quest for self-knowledge through the teachings of Islam and Sufism. Aliya’s lifelong commitment to higher consciousness is evident in the passion she brings to her work with individuals and groups.

Aliya can help you access transformational change within yourself by overcoming your limiting patterns and habits, enhance personal, family and professional relationships, improve health and healing, and enable you to balance your principles and values with your commitments and responsibilities in everyday transactions.

She is also qualified to work with in depth dream interpretation, extraordinary states of consciousness, and guided mindfulness meditation. She is renowned for helping clients achieve profound and sustainable benefits after only a couple of sessions. This turnaround is due to her philosophy that once you tap into your inner resilience and potentiality, you discover your innate courage and wisdom to live fully within the present moment.

Aliya’s vision is for each one of us to awaken to our authentic self, to experience our inner enlightened state, and finally to connect this awareness to the practicalities of all aspects of daily life. She believes that what we need to live a fulfilled life is within us; that we have the potential to realise, not only our dreams and aspirations, but also to bring about healing and contentment from within.

There is nothing to grasp outside of ourselves – we are already whole and complete. A frequent speaker on psychology, Islam, healing and spirituality, she addressed the UN Year of the Woman Seminar, and appeared on BBC-TV, SABC-TV, as well as featured in media and the press internationally. Some of her contributions to the field of psychology includes “Overcoming Abuse” published in the British Mental Health Journal Open Mind and was a co-author of a psychosocial study of psychic children in the United Kingdom, published by The Human Dimensions Institute of New York. She is an international member of The Association for Transpersonal Psychology. She is also the director of the (ASK) Academy of Self Knowledge in South Africa.

Aliya’s clients come from all walks of life and backgrounds. Some of her most acknowledged and rapid coaching applications are founded on her life view that “What you seek – love, compassion, lightness of being and a sense of belonging – is already within you.”
